Terms of service
Last updated October 25, 2026
These terms apply to briefind.com and to the Briefind early access program, including the free analysis of your website. By using the site or requesting an analysis, you accept them. If you request an analysis on behalf of a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you can do so.
Who we are
Briefind is operated by Pau González, Barcelona, Spain (“Briefind”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@briefind.com.
The early access program
Briefind is not generally available yet. During early access we prepare a written analysis of the website you give us and send it to the email you provide, and we keep you informed as the product opens. We aim to deliver each analysis within 48 hours; this is a target, not a guarantee.
Early access is free. Joining it does not oblige you to buy anything. Paid plans, when they exist, will be offered separately with their own terms, and you can decide then whether to take them.
We may decline a request, for example when a website isn’t a good fit for what Briefind does today, and we may change or end the program. Features, timing and availability can change while the product is being built.
Your website and your authority to request an analysis
Only request an analysis of a website you own, or that you work on with the owner’s permission. When you send a request, you confirm that this is the case.
To prepare the analysis we read pages of that website that are publicly available without logging in. We don’t try to access restricted areas, and we don’t make changes to your website.
What the analysis is, and what it isn’t
The analysis is information to help you decide what to do with your content. It is based on what was publicly visible on your website when we read it, and it can contain errors or miss things. Where the evidence doesn’t support a conclusion, we say so instead of guessing. Decisions you take based on the analysis, and their results, are your responsibility.
Confidentiality
We treat your analysis as confidential. We won’t publish it, or share findings about your website with anyone else, without your written permission.
Ownership
Your website and its content remain yours. You allow us to read and process the public pages of your website only to prepare your analysis and run the early access program.
Once we send you the analysis, you can use it freely within your organisation and share it with the people who work on your website. The Briefind name, this website and the methods and software behind the analysis remain ours.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- request analyses of websites you aren’t authorised to act for;
- send automated, bulk or false requests through the form;
- try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to this website or our systems.
We may ignore or remove requests that break these rules.
No warranty
The website and the early access program, including the analysis, are provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Briefind is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost traffic, revenue, profits or data, arising from the website or the early access program, and our total liability is limited to one hundred euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. We will change the date at the top when we do, and if a change materially affects you during early access, we will tell you by email. The terms in force when you use the site are the ones that apply.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Barcelona, unless the law gives you the right to use other courts.
